I have realized now that I am away from home that I am a lot more like my father than I ever thought I was. I will give some examples....
We have a problem with dishes making it into the dishwasher in my apartment and I can't handle the sink being filled woth dishes it blocks the sink so you can't use it (that was a dad thing to say) and so one day I looked at the overflowing sink and was just overwhelmed by it so I go and open the dishwasher and.... IT WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY!!! As I looked and chuckled to myself about it, my room mates come home. I tell them to take a look at what I had just discovered and went on to say this.... "How much time does it take to just put your dirty dish in the dishwasher? Like 5 seconds more?" And went on to load the dishwasher. As I was doing so I became appalled with myself because I realized that I had heard those exact same words all my life from my dad at home.
Another thing is that I used to fold my laundry and not really pay attention to whether it was right side out or inside out. I didn't care I could put it on either way it was. This drove dad nuts. And now that I am up at school I will be folding my laundry and if I see a shirt is inside out then I have to fix it. Even if I have already folded it I have to unfold it, fix it, and then re-fold the blasted thing!
Now the real clencher is about a week ago my room mates were talking about something that we needed to get done. I think it may have been something to do with cleaning again I'm not real positive, but I asked them this "When are we going to get this done? Thursday?" I just about died!! When I said that. My dad had said that to us when we were growing up in reference to my sister and I cleaning our room or really doing anything. Thursday was his favorite day until we started teasing him about it and he doesn't say it anymore.
So thanks dad for all your little sayings that have been embedded in my brain and they just come out when I don't even realize it.

Choose your horoscope....
So these are the horoscopes that are posted in a newspaper here in Rexburg called, The Voice. I thought I was going to die laughing when I read some of these just because it made me think of people in my family. I seriously laughed for about 5 minutes and I had tears streaming down my face. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
AQUARIUS
Due to your bed wetting, buying those plastic sheets was a great investment. Now only if they sold plastic lined pants.

A good test of a mans ambition is if his alarm clock is his best friend or his worst enemy. But being BFF is going a little too far.
ARIES
Anohter semester is gone; another three months you're not getting back

You'll run into an old fling this week; that booger you flung on the wall

The marshmallow war

In the process of our battle one of them took my gun and took me hostage! He was using me as a human shield. My roommates did not care and shot at him which really were hitting me. But to be completely honest I did not mind him taking me "hostage" at all. It just so happened to be the boy that I a little bit of a thing for, so I was totally fine, and that is really the only reason he was able to get my gun away from me.

He ended using my gun against my roomies. I was on his team after this incident. That really the only interesting thing that we did last night. No one else we went to see was home, so we just went home. But it was a way fun night. I would totally do it again.

FOOTBALL!!!
So this past friday we got some people together and played fome flag footbal. IT WAS AMAZING!! It was in the 30s that night. We were going to play in the stadium we have here at BYU-I which has astro-terf, unfortunately the lights were not turned on for us so we had to go to the lower playing fields. It was all grass. The snow has begun to melt so it was way wet there. We got really really wet. Now time for my totally awesome story..... The other team was doing a kick off and the ball came right to me! Well it kinda hit a few yards in front of me and then i picked it up and was off running down the field. I was doing a great kick return, I was dodging all kinds of people. Then one of my roommates, on the other team, came towards me. I dodged her and then due to the wetness of the field she slipped and fell right in my way. In an attemp to keep the ball alive, I try to jump over her. In that attempt one of my feet hits her knee and I go flying through the air. You know how when you watch football games in slow mo and the guys are flying through the air and their air and legs are flailing around..... well thats what I did. Then I noticed the ground was getting closer to my face. Then my face makes contact with the grass and water and mud. I totally face planted!! After the initial stun of impact, I roll over, and everyone is around me, asking me if I am OK and what not. I was. Just a little stunned. So one of the boys helped me up and I almost fall over backwards again! After I got my balance back I was like "OK LETS PLAY FOOTBALL!!" I didn't get any pictures of the immediate after math of great fall. Here is a picture of us afer we got home. There is still dirt on the right side of my face.

A Night of Boredom

We even had the nerve to go outside our apartment....... we even went to go see some of the boys we knew in these little outfits... Hence the reason we are all still single.

My first adventure in Idaho....

The entire wheel was gone!!! There wasn't anything to attach a spare tire to. So naturally we go to find the tire that flew off the car. We go walking down the highway at night looking for this tire. We turn and look back and we realize there was no way they could have driven that far with only 3 wheels. SO we go back and decide we needed to think about this logically. SO we turn and look behind the car a little bit and low and behold we see jump marks. We look out into the snow and there is the tire. We go out to get the tire and the snow comes up above MY knee. Meaning it was a good 2+ feet deep. Since I was the tallest person there I was the one to venture out into the snow to actually retrieve the runaway tire. And in case you were wondering tires are a lot heavier than they look. Then I made the trek back up the little hill to the car. Here is another picture of the car with the MIA tire that was found.
Anyway, when got back up to where the car was I put the tire down and looked at my hands. They were completely black, from the dirt and grease, and they were beginning to freeze. We get some snow and water to clean off my hands some. Which really wasn't the smartst thing to do but I already couldn't feel my hands so we figured what the heck. Then they started to thaw. It hurt so bad I just wanted to cry. But I toughed it out and got all the feeling back to my hands. We called a tow truck and they were on their way. Little did we know, the tow truck was in the process of picking up someone else and had to take them to somewhere else. So in the meanwe had tons of fun. If you look at the picture ----> you can see the black that was still on my
hand. So 2 hours later!!! The tow truck finally comes and we all pile in the one car and drive home. We get home in time for curfew with about 5 minutes to spare. We were pretty happy about the whole thing.
